International Passenger Terminal (IPT)

The IPT is the 9th largest cruise homeport in the world, including Costa Crociere (belonging to Carnival Corporation & plc), as well as ships from Royal Caribbean International and Star Cruises.

Operating with just 2 berths, in 2010, some 1 million cruise passengers arrived or departed on 642 vessels that belong to 34 cruise lines. These cruise lines include many well-known cruise operators namely Cunard Line, Royal Caribbean International, Star Cruises, Costa Crociere, Princess Cruise Line, Crystal Cruises, Silversea Cruises, Regent Seven Sea Cruises, Holland America Line, P&O Cruises & Seabourn Cruise Line.

This multiple award-winning cruise terminal completed in 1991. There are 2 berths for International passenger cruise ships: CC01- 310m with depth alongside 12m and CC02 – 270m with depth alongside 11m.

Since 1998 more than S$50 million has been invested to upgrade & improve the HarbourFront Passenger Terminal facilities, catering for increase demand as well as growth in the cruise industry.

In 1998, the HarbourFront Passenger Terminal (HFPT) was refurbished to increase the capacity of the terminal to handle larger & longer ships, renovating the interior & dredging two spots on the Cruise Bay to create a larger turning circle for mega cruise ships.

In 2005 the terminal was improved for better security equipment & processes to gain compliance with the international ISPS code.

In 2009 the terminal was renovated to improve passenger circulation & boost the processing space. At this time, a new CIP/VIP Lounge was also incorporated.

And in 2011, a Singapore Cruise Centre is making a significant investment of S$14million to rejuvenate the entire terminal, adding 25% more space to better the experience for passengers & visitors. The renovation will improve circulation, add ambience & provide more spacious areas for immigration & baggage clearance.

At the IPT, passengers & visitors alike may enjoy a suite of amenities which includes food & beverage options, left luggage services, CIP Lounge services & free Wi-Fi connections. We also provide services for ship crews such as internet cafe & convenience shop within restricted area.

Regional Ferry Terminal (RFT)
